Notice of application for open Project of Collaborative Innovation Center jointly built by Western Ecological Security Province and Ministry
Western China Collaborative Innovation Center for Ecological Security (hereinafter referred to as "The Center") was established under the leadership of Lanzhou University. In 2018, it was recognized as one of the first provincial-level collaborative Innovation Centers under the Ministry of Education. It mainly participated in more than 10 scientific and technological institutions, including related research institutes of The Chinese Academy of Sciences, universities in western China, and Gansu Institute of Desertification Control.
In order to continuously improve the efficiency of collaborative integration, improve the scientific research level of ecological security in the west, and provide technical support and decision-making consultation for ecological security issues in the west, the Center sets up open subjects in the principle of "openness, competition and fairness" to support research projects related to the main research directions of the Center. Welcome domestic and foreign researchers in related research fields to apply. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
1. Object of declaration
Applicants should be researchers under the age of 45, with a doctorate or associate high degree or above, who are engaged in relevant scientific research work in institutions of higher learning, scientific research institutions and business units. The declaration of center members is strictly restricted.
Two, the main direction of funding
According to the research direction and objectives of the Centre, the open projects will be funded mainly in the following directions:
(1) Safety and service function of western ecosystem
(2) Security and regulation of water resources in western China
(3) Drought climate change and its response
(4) Sustainable development in the West
(5) Formation and evolution of arid environmen
(6) Changes and service functions of the western cryosphere
(7) Influence of dust aerosol on ecological security in western China
(8) Regional sustainable development
Iii. Declaration requirements
1. Applicants should carefully fill in the Open Project Application Form (2019) for The Collaborative Innovation Center jointly built by The Ministry and The Province of Western Ecological Security, in triplets (printed on A4 paper on both sides). Submit the application with the approval and seal of the supervisor of the unit.
2. The duration of the study is two years. Applicants from outside institutions must cooperate with a researcher from the Centre with similar research interests.
3. There are 20 projects to be funded, with the subsidy amount ranging from RMB 50,000-100,000 yuan per project.
4. The sponsor of the project should sign relevant agreements and contracts as required. At the end of the project, he/she should submit the summary report of the project, a printed copy of the paper published and valid proof of participation in academic activities.
Research Center and researchers are in an unit to share, required core journals published and above 2 papers, of which 1 SCI theses, at the same time for the following articles marked: papers of the first unit must at the same time as the Chinese "the Western Ecological security department to build Collaborative Innovation Center (lanzhou university), English" Collaborative Innovation Center for Western Ecological Safety ", and marked by the subject.
At the same time, the person in charge of the open project who has not finished the project should attend the annual conference held by us and report the progress of the project.

2. The application deadline is June 30, 2019 (subject to the postmark). Applicants should submit a paper application form (in triplicate with official seal) and an electronic application form.
